Shichio Minato Exhibition "Climate"
This is going to be a relatively large-scale solo exhibition. Using two exhibition spaces and a corridor, I’m presenting my works including the latest series "Climate”.

I want to express a beautiful lightness. I also want to express a beautiful darkness. So, how shall I embody them together?
'Climate’ is a new series created after having done onsite research/interviews in Ono City, Fukui prefecture. The series was created using environmentally conscious printmaking techniques.
Inspired by the 'little stories' of the local people, I have tried to express my own interpretation of their culture climate.

Workshop 'Try your hand at copperplate printing and make your own bookplate!'

Learn non-toxic printmaking techniques to create an original bookplate (Ex-Libris). A bookplate, is a small paper label attached to the end-paper of a book, to identify its owner. Bookplates, individually printed by the artist, are considered to be beautiful works of art to be cherished and collected.
